Hello Reader, My birthday passed just ten days ago, and the vibe of my life has shifted dramatically. You can glimpse the flavor of the year ahead by looking at your Solar Return chart—the snapshot of the sky at the moment the Sun returns to your birth position. I did just that for myself, and here’s what I found. Last year, both my Sun and Moon landed in the twelfth house—the domain of hidden work and behind-the-scenes effort. And indeed, I spent much of my time finding my footing in a new job and savoring family life. With my son preparing to embark on his college journey, it felt essential to spend every moment I could with him. This year, my Solar Return chart places the Sun high in the tenth house, right by the Midheaven—the realm of visibility and public presence. You don’t need to be fluent in astrology to sense the difference: the tone for the year has changed completely. And the Moon is in the third house of speaking and communicating. Almost on cue, I felt a sudden spark to resume my podcast. In a burst of inspiration, I created six new episodes and bundled them into a new season. Season 2 begins with a trailer you can listen to here. If you’d like to see what a Pluto transit can do in a single year, I recommend listening to two episodes back-to-back: the fresh Season 2 trailer and Engage or Release, the final episode from last season. The contrast says it all. Best, Tatiana

Hi, I’m Tatiana—a physicist turned spiritual explorer. Hello Reader, I was preparing for tonight’s Cycles Lab on Solar Return Charts—you can still hop in if you feel called—when I was reminded again how the Moon always brings change. She tugs at our moods and comfort zones, and before we know it, something shifts—inside or out. Today, the Moon is in Capricorn, a sign that favors quiet focus over drama. It’s a good day to simplify, get things done, and pause long enough to catch your breath—especially with Mercury Retrograde approaching on Nov 9....
Hello Reader, Why is nobody looking at Solar Returns as part of a longer arc? I’ve never found a book, a class, or even a mention of it. Even my astrological software won’t let me create charts beyond the immediate year. I had to switch to another app and get creative before I could look at my Solar Returns for the past three years. When I asked why on the software’s help site, they said, “Nobody needs it.” Really? I can’t believe I am the only one who uses this easy and powerful way to see...
Hello Reader, Welcome back to Cycles. In just over a day, the Moon will reach fullness and enter Earth’s shadow in a total Lunar Eclipse. You may already feel the shift—last night it rose through the trees, stark in size and color, a vivid reminder that this is a powerful time for release. A Dream Practice Two nights ago, I asked my guides to heal subconscious trauma, guilt, and regrets while I slept. The Full Moon is ideal for release, so I thought: why not ask for the big help? Sure enough,...
