  • Cycles Lab themes for April

Hello Reader,

Have you been watching the absurd, almost insane developments around politics, international relations, the economy, education, health care…

I know that our collective subconscious is projecting everything outward. I know that the world is not quite as real as we think. That I can work on the inside and avoid the outside madness. And yet, I can’t help but watch, here and there, the train wreck that it all is. It’s my cosmic rubber-necking on a planetary scale…

When I remember to take a break—step outdoors, tend to my flowers, or simply listen to the sparrows and the cardinals hopping around my backyard—I immediately feel better. Even more so, I sleep better. I remain grounded for several days, without the urge to go back and glue myself to the news.

Nature is a great healer. But in my case, communing with Nature is not only healing—it is the energy that holds the key to completing my personal and spiritual transformation and bringing me to the next level of existence. Why, you may ask?

Simply—the nature-loving Taurus lies in my 8th house: the house of the way, truth, and life. It is my personal energy that helps me see through illusions, hold on to the truth, and have the courage to face my fears.

The 8th house, for all of us, is our customized personal magic door to our new self—the one that is more authentic, more powerful, and in control of life rather than the other way around.

Whatever the energy in the 8th house is, those are the attributes that—quietly but profoundly—help you adjust, recalibrate, and find your way to your next step in life. Align with it, and tribulations, changes, and collapses affect you much less than you might expect, even if you are not fully conscious of what is going on.

Check out your own 8th house energy and incorporate at least one activity aligned with it each day. Try it for a week and let me know if it feels as profound as I am experiencing it for myself.

Aries, Aries, Aries in the sky

We continue to have very active Aries energy in the sky. On April 9, Mars ingresses into Aries as well—its natural kingdom.

Let’s see how that martial energy shows up, both personally and in the world outside: who will respond in a harmonious way—bravely using their voice for what is right and to protect those who are weaker? And who will lash out, stomp, throw temper tantrums, and mete out bombastic threats?

Watch out for temper outbursts. Don’t be the one driving like a maniac on the freeway or yelling at people. But at the same time, you don’t have to take that behavior from others either.

The middle ground for Mars in Aries is to mind your own business while standing for your principles when invited to do so. It is that middle line between aggression and cowering.

The Sun–Moon Monthly Cycle

The last Full Moon was on April 1, while I was down with a cold—or a flu, or something respiratory. Not my preferred way to release issues, but it works just as well as my favorite rituals. And I have been holding my fingers to help me with the nasty cough.

But now that I have recovered, I might as well be philosophical about it… :-)

Sometimes, the fastest way to move energy stuck in the mental or emotional space is to push it down and out through the body as physical symptoms. It took me about a week to recover, but I am finally better—and you can probably feel that my spirit is, too. I wouldn’t be writing so cheerfully about illness while still in pain. I tend to be a whiny one when I’m sick. That is how Effortless Reality was born - in a fit of a cosmic temper tantrum that there has to be another way other than pain and suffering.

Mark April 17 on your calendar—our next New Moon, and a powerful one at that.

At least, it is going to be powerful for me: both Sun and Moon at 27° Aries, right on my Chiron, exactly opposite my Ascendant, while the rest of the Aries cluster activates other sensitive points in my chart. In fact, my whole chart is on fire right now—there is not a single transiting planet that is not making an aspect with something in my natal chart. I have practically given up on understanding what and how and why. Instead, I have reduced my focus to light JSJ self-help and a healing mantra for the eyes.

Cycles Lab Themes

In addition to any questions about Uranus in Taurus, in April’s Cycles Lab the two themes will be:
– the 8th house of transformation
– the New Moon on April 17

If you are curious how these might play out in your chart, April is the time for you to join us. If you cannot attend either lab live (the 18th or 20th), just send me your questions in an email, and I will answer them in class. Just keep in mind that only audio recordings are available (to protect the privacy of all participants).

Best,

Tatiana

Cycles Labs

Questions about your astrological chart or self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu practice? Cycles Labs are designed precisely for that.

The April topic is Uranus and changes, the 8th house and its gifts, and the powerful New Moon in Aries.

Cycles Lab Class Schedule

Please sign up at least a week in advance if you would like me to include your chart in the class examples. All classes are held via Zoom, and an audio-only version is recorded for review.

If you know you cannot attend the live classes, but have questions about your chart, send them in advance and I'll answer them during class.
