Cycles, Sep. 5: Dream Work at Full Moon


Hello Reader,

Welcome back to Cycles. In just over a day, the Moon will reach fullness and enter Earth’s shadow in a total Lunar Eclipse. You may already feel the shift—last night it rose through the trees, stark in size and color, a vivid reminder that this is a powerful time for release.

A Dream Practice

Two nights ago, I asked my guides to heal subconscious trauma, guilt, and regrets while I slept. The Full Moon is ideal for release, so I thought: why not ask for the big help? Sure enough, my dreams intensified and multiplied. Early this morning my husband even had to wake me from a nightmare—apparently I was making distressed noises and he “saved” me. :-)

Much can be resolved in dreams. We don’t have to carry everything into daylight. Fears, anxieties, anger, resentment—these too can be released at night. The key is permission: your nightly helpers will never interfere without it.

How to Do It

Before bed, simply think of your guides and ask: “Please help me resolve subconscious trauma. You have my permission to do as much healing as is productive.” Then let sleep do its work.

You may wake during the night from vivid or even frightening dreams. If so, thank your guides that this will never have to manifest in your life again dreaming or waking. To calm your nerves and return to sleep, try the Diaphragm self-help flow—I’ve included the JSJ sequence at the end of this letter.
