Hello Reader, Happy Spring to the Northern Hemisphere and Fall if you live in the Southern Hemisphere! Yesterday, I was basking in the warmth of our Northern Virginia spring, completely absorbed in the Sun—so much so that I forgot all about Mercury retrograde. Not, of course, when I tried to pay with my ID instead of a credit card. And certainly not when I slammed my car door on my finger, leaving it badly bruised. My mind just wasn’t there I thought absentmindedly. Eventually, the excruciating pain in my hand forced me into a modicum of mindfulness of my surroundings, but it was my daughter today who put it into words: Isn’t Mercury retrograding? Could that be why I’ve been so absentminded? Yes. Yes, it is. And, true to form, I’ve been writing a lot—an unmistakable sign that we’re deep in Mercury retrograde. I always seem to get the most writing done during these periods. You can find my latest article, Rediscovering the Week, in The Writing Cooperative on Medium. (I've given you here my friend's link so that you don't have to log in or subscribe.) In further alignment with the astrological weather, I gave my book, Effortless Reality, a little refresh—fixing tiny typos and minor issues before updating it on Amazon. If you have the digital edition, the corrections should appear automatically within about three days. Now, back to the Sun and the Moon—our celestial monthly timekeepers. With the Sun now in Aries, we’re heading toward a Solar Eclipse on March 29 at 7 a.m. US EDT. If you plan to watch it, don’t forget your safety glasses—eclipse or not, the Sun’s rays can be damaging to the eyes. I plan to use this eclipse, a supercharged New Moon, as an opportunity to meditate on new directions in life. We all need guidance right now, with the world undergoing such profound transformation. And when the dust settles, we’ll want to be on the right side of evolution, won’t we? For the JSJ enthusiasts, I recommend working with the Thumb Function Energy over the next couple of days. This is one of the special body functions from the back of our textbook, meaning it operates close to the physical realm—bringing quick relief, though not necessarily lasting change. Just enough to restore some clarity while we are sorting the shifting landscapes in our mind. Best, Tatiana JSJ Self HelpLeft Side: Place your right hand on your left shoulder (left SEL 11/3). With your left hand, make a fist, ensuring your fingers touch the base of your thumb (left SEL 18). Right Side: Place your left hand on your right shoulder (right SEL 11/3). With your right hand, make a fist, ensuring your fingers touch the base of your thumb (right SEL 18). For the duration of the practice, envision only peace and harmony surrounding and flowing through you.

You’ve been following Mercury and its retrograde periods. And, you have a favorite astrologer’s podcast that you listen to daily. Now what? Is...
Hello Reader, In his book "Astrology for the Millions," Grant Lewi, a one-time Professor of English at Dartmouth and an astrologer extraordinaire, claimed that when the moving Saturn traverses the portion of the sky that corresponds to the lower left quadrant of quadrant of your astrological chart, it is time for work on yourself. There will be no outward rewards or recognition at this time. On the other hand, if you have been doing your work, day in and day out, the rewards are most likely...
